App: FastLift · Operated by RAXBI LTD · Contact: [email protected]

The short version. FastLift is built to be private and works fully without an account. Your fasting history, your daily training and protein toggles, your protein target, and your streak are stored on your device. An account is optional: if you choose to sign in, we also store a copy of that data on our servers in London so it can back up and sync across your devices. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising. You can delete your account and all your synced data at any time.

1. Who we are

FastLift ("the app", "we", "us") is an intermittent fasting timer operated by RAXBI LTD. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Data stored on your device

FastLift is a local-first app. The following is created and kept on your device:

If you do not sign in, this data stays on your device, we cannot see it or recover it, and deleting the app removes it. If you sign in to an optional account, a copy of the fasting, training, workout, food, bodyweight, and protein-target data is also stored on our servers so it can sync across your devices (see section 4).

3. Information related to purchases

If you start a subscription or free trial, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management provider, to confirm your subscription status so the app can unlock premium features and restore your purchase on a new device.

DataWhyWho processes it
Purchase and subscription status (for example: active, trial, expired) and a randomly generated app user identifierTo manage your subscription, unlock premium features, and support Restore PurchasesApple, Google, RevenueCat

This purchase information is used only for app functionality. It is not linked to your name and is not used for advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy, Apple's privacy policy, and Google's privacy policy for how those providers handle payment data.

4. Optional accounts and cloud sync

An account is optional. The app is fully usable offline and without signing in. If you choose to create an account, it exists only to back up your data and sync it across your devices. There is no profile, no social features, and no sharing. Your subscription and premium access do not depend on having an account.

5. Food search, barcode, and photo meal scan

When you search for a food by name or scan a barcode and the item is not already in the app, the app looks it up with Open Food Facts, an open food database, to retrieve its nutrition data. Only the text you typed (or the scanned barcode digits) is sent, over an encrypted connection, so the database can return the food. We do not send your name, account, device identifier, fasting history, macros, or any other personal information with the lookup. See the Open Food Facts privacy policy for how they handle requests.

Photo meal scan (Premium). If you use the optional photo scan to estimate a meal, the photo you take is sent, over an encrypted connection, to our server and then to our AI provider, Anthropic, only to estimate the food and its calories and macros. The result is an estimate, not an exact measurement. The photo is used solely for that estimate: it is not stored by us or by the provider, is not linked to you, and is not used for advertising or to train AI models. Barcode and manual entry never send a photo. This feature requires you to be signed in.

6. Voice set logging (Premium)

If you use the optional voice logging feature during a workout, you tap the microphone and speak a set (for example, "8 reps at 100"). Your speech is converted to text by your device's built-in speech recognition. Audio is processed in the moment and is never stored, by us or by anyone acting for us, and the audio never reaches our servers. Recognition happens on your device where possible; until your device has downloaded its offline speech model, the audio may be processed by your device's speech service (provided by Apple, Google, or your device manufacturer) to return the text. Voice logging is optional, only listens after you tap the microphone, and requires a microphone permission you can revoke at any time in your device settings.

If the app cannot understand the transcribed text on its own, the text of what you said (never the audio) is sent, over an encrypted connection, to our server and then to our AI provider, Anthropic, only to work out the set you meant. As with the photo meal scan, that text is used solely for this purpose: it is not stored, is not linked to you, and is not used for advertising or to train AI models. This fallback requires you to be signed in. A set logged by voice is stored exactly like a set you type by hand.

7. What we do not do

8. Health information

FastLift is a general wellness and productivity tool for organising fasting and training routines. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Any fasting or nutrition information in the app is general and educational. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your eating or training routine, and do not use the app as a substitute for professional advice.

9. Recovery and Signals (Apple Health and Health Connect)

FastLift's Recovery and Signals feature can show you trends from data you already record on your device, such as your steps, sleep, active energy, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, VO2 max, and recorded workouts such as runs. The app reads this data from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) only with your explicit permission, and only for the data types you allow. If you grant no permission, nothing is read.

Reads are read-only and happen on your device while you are using the app. This health data is displayed back to you inside FastLift so you can see your recent trends. It is not uploaded to our servers, is not shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising, and FastLift never writes anything back to Apple Health or Health Connect. A run found this way is shown to you as a review card first: nothing is added to FastLift until you confirm it, and a confirmed run is then stored on your device like any run you log by hand (and syncs only if you have an optional account). You can revoke FastLift's access at any time in Health Connect (Android) or the Health app's sharing settings (iOS), and you can turn the feature off in the app's Settings. Deleting your account, or the app, removes this data as described in section 11.

10. Children

FastLift is not directed to children. Fasting may not be appropriate for people under 18, during pregnancy, or for people with certain medical conditions, and the app advises consulting a doctor first.

11. Your choices and rights

You control your data directly. On your device, you can change or remove your entries in the app, or delete the app to remove the on-device data.

If you have an account, you can:

Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained where required by law; for those, contact the relevant provider. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the UK GDPR or the CCPA. Email us at [email protected] to exercise them.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in the app where appropriate.
